I’m a speaker, blogger, and podcaster who is passionate about equipping Christians, particularly teens and young adults, to know WHY they believe – and to keep on believing. I’m the creator of the EMBRACE THE FAITH, EMBRACE THE BIBLE and HOLD ON TO YOUR FAITH presentation series.

As a former police detective who chased down the bad guys, I use my investigative skills and research background to uncover truth and to present evidence as to why Christianity is true and logical. My approach is quite simple: present the evidence and let the evidence speak for itself.

I love adventure and hiked the 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine as an undercover missionary, meeting hikers with different religious worldviews along the way. I chronicled my journey from a biblical worldview in my popular blog with over 300,000 views from readers around the world (trailjournals.com/cozy).

I hold a Masters of Religion from Liberty University and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University. I taught for both universities as an adjunct professor. I live in central Florida with my husband, Steve, and our goldendoodle, Bailey, and kitten, Lucky.

What is the 25?

Living the Christian life as a teen or young adult in today’s world is the greatest adventure you could ever be on. But like every adventure, it comes with its own set of challenges. Some of those challenges aren’t always easy to navigate through on your own. In fact, about 75% of Christian teens in local church youth groups walk away from the Church after graduating– and many walk away from Christ Himself.

But you don’t have to walk off the journey. And you certainly don’t have to walk the journey alone. There’s another option… You can BE THE 25% who WALK ON to make a lasting impact for Christ. You can also influence others. Research shows that it only takes 25% of a group to change the opinion and behavior of the majority.
